The Group will support validation, make proposals and participate in actions to achieve the following two objectives:

1. to boost the uptake of eBIZ results, notably the Reference Architecture and with a view to achieve a single e-language for the TCF supply-chains
2. to investigate needs of possible follow up actions, recognising the eBIZ achievements and to keep them up to date in the global economy

Stakeholders, participating in the activities of the eBIZ Interest Group may include (main roles in brackets):

* The eBIZ consortium: EURATEX, CEC, ENEA (Interest Group members and animators)
* IT Providers serving TCF companies (users – support to dissemination and upgrades)
* TCF companies which are eBIZ compliant (users – support to dissemination)
* Sectoral associations of TCF Industries, Retailers and IT, from international to regional level (support to dissemination)
* Standardisation bodies (advisors – support to dissemination)
* European Commission (observer, support to dissemination)

With Support of the eBIZ Consortium coordinated by EURATEX, the Stakeholders will be particularly involved in the following two key Actions:

Dissemination and Enlargement

To organise and implement information campaigns at national and regional level to motivate local companies of the TCF supply chain and their IT providers towards the adoption of eBusiness solutions which are eBIZ compliant.

The eBIZ consortium will mainly provide in kind resources for this action and particularly competences and information material. These resources will be available for the Group to implement concrete actions mobilising local companies.

Maintenance and upgrade

To discuss with Stakeholders the requirements and possible actions for the Reference Architecture to stay up-to-date and evolve, thereby remaining an effective point of reference for eBusiness communication in and outside Europe.

In particular, the achievement of international Standard recognition will be actively pursued.
