eBIZ at the EURATEX General Assembly, 10th June 2010
The eBIZ initiative was duly represented at the 2010 General Assembly of EURATEX, the European Confederation of the Textile and Apparel Industry and coordinator of eBIZ. The Assembly public part was opened by a key-note speech of the Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for DG Enterprise and Industry Mr. Tajani, who was welcomed by a speech of Dr. Pfneisl, president of EURATEX. The latter in particular quoted eBIZ as one of the examples of successful projects implemented in cooperation between the industry association and the DG. Furthermore, the over 150 participants from 21 countries were provided extensive information on the project key results.
